It is 100% vegan friendly and has only been tested by myself, my husband and Ingrid in the development process.
It is a liquid that we add to the cooling phase of cream production. It has a light almond smell, which is not normally found in the finished product.
Over time, benzyl alcohol oxidises to benzaldehyde, which has a strong almond odour.
It is a broad-spectrum preservative consisting of four different components:
Benzyl alcohol, salicylic acid, glycerin and sorbic acid.
These molecules are found naturally in plants such as pine resin, rowan berries and willow bark.
It is a preservative system based on no parabens, no formaldehydes, no isothiazolones.

We don't want to destroy the botanical properties of base oils and essential oils by using high temperatures. We carefully heat, combine and produce at low temperatures, which means that the best properties remain alive and intact, and thus absorbed by your skin.
